About me... counselling banbury, counselling witney, counselling banbury, counselling banbury, counselling banbury,

I am a qualified counsellor and member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. My areas of experience and interest include:

  • abuse
  • addictions
  • anxiety
  • depression/low mood
  • identity issues
  • loss
  • relationships
  • self esteem
  • sexuality
  • spirituality
  • stress

However, I recognise that not all difficulties or challenges in life can be easily identified or named so also offer general counselling. For example this could be about a previous experience that is affecting you or a feeling that life is meaningless. counselling banbury, counselling banbury, witney counselling, oxfordshire, counselling oxfordshire, counselling oxfordshire, counselling witney, counselling witney,

In addition to counselling, I have 9 years experience of working with the most excluded and complex individuals in society. I have designed the Pathway to Potential Support Tool for use with vulnerable people and also sit on the National Advisory Council for homelessness.

I also have an interest in taking therapy outside of the counselling room and in doing so exploring the therapeutic value of natural environments. I am currently developing this side of my practice through membership of the organisation Counselling and Psychotherapy Outdoors (CAPO).  counselling, witney counselling, witney counselling, witney counselling, witney counselling, banbury counselling,  counsellioxford, counselling oxford, counselling oxford, counselling oxford, counselling oxford, counseloxford The way I work...  counselling banbury, counselling oxfordshire, counselling oxfordshire, counselling oxfordshire,

I am a Person-Centred counsellor but my background in philosophy enables me to bring an Existential aspect to my work. I also have an interest in the transpersonal. This aims to look at the nature or core of a person that transcends the everyday identity norms of, for example, gender, age and culture. oxfordshire counselling, oxfordshire counselling, oxfordshire counselling, oxfordshire counselling, oxfordshire counselling, oxfordshire counselling, oxfordshire counselling, oxfordshire counselling, banbury
